Meet your Course Director - Elie Fayad

Elie Fayad was trained in Classic Acupuncture by Mr. Thierry Bollet, who founded IEATC (Institut d’Energetique et Acupuncture Traditionelles Chinoises) Paris in 1979.

 

He graduated from IEATC under the direct tutelage of Thierry Bollet, who was was the unique disciple of Mr. Charles Laville-Mery, most renowned French acupuncturists of the 20th century and himself trained by the greatest Chinese masters:

  • Master Chen (Hong Kong)

  • Master Leung Kok Yuen (HongKong)

  • Master Wu Wei Ping (Taiwan)

 

Elie Fayad is also a graduate of CCREAT: DNAT (National Diploma of Traditional Acupuncture). He was trained in Dr. Truong Thin Vietnamese Acupuncture and in J.R Worsley 5 Elements Acupuncture by Daniel Laurent (Director of the school 5 Elements in France).

He received further training in Vietnamese Acupuncture style "Luc Khi "by Ly Thanh-Trung (heir direct of this lineage).

Elie Fayad also trained with Jacques Deseau in the practice of pulsology according to the teaching of George Soulié de Morant.

​

He received his learning in Master Tung's acupuncture from Susan Johnson, a disciple of Ms. Myriam Lee who was one of Master Tung's disciples.

​

Furthermore, Elie Fayad has learned the practice of visceral manipulation techniques from George Bernoz, director of the I.S.R. school. George Bernoz is a renowned Bonesetter who has managed to preserve the ancestral manual techniques.

​

In 2012, he founded the Nice branch of the IEATC school, where he currently teaches. He became the Director of the IEATC group of schools in 2014.

​

In 2018, he founded the Classic Acupuncture Academy, an international school devoted to the spreading of Classic Acupuncture (ancient tradition).

He ‍participated as a speaker at the 5th International Forum of Western Studies on Chinese Medicine held in October 2017 in Kunming (Yunnan / China) to represent the teaching of Classic Acupuncture preserved by Mr. Charles Laville-Mery and by his student Mr. Thierry Bollet.

Elie Fayad also runs a private acupuncture practice in Nice. He is married and has two children.
